FAMILY SERVICES RESIDENTIAL Youth Development Specialist - Part-Time in GREEN BAY, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Family Services is a non-profit organization that protects, heals and cares for children and families throughout Northeast Wisconsin. Family Services is strongly committed to protecting children and vulnerable individuals from abuse and exploitation. When traumatic situations occur, our staff is there to assist the individual or family with their journey of healing and recovery. Family Services cares for individuals who are isolated, abandoned or just need help developing the skills to live successfully. Our Residential Program is recruiting a part-time Youth Development Specialist to work 20 hours per week in our live-in treatment program for youth. Duties include working with youth who need caring adults to help them learn new skills to manage their feelings, make positive decisions, learn responsibility and develop healthy relationships. The Youth Development Specialist will work with youth individually and in small group settings teaching social skills, positive coping skills and positive recreation and leisure activities. In addition, they will ensure safety by providing excellent supervision and crisis management. This position is an overnight position with the hours of 11pm to 9am on Fridays and Saturdays. Shift differential available for hours worked Monday through Saturday between 5pm and 7am, and for hours worked between 7am Saturday and 7am Monday.
