You belong here. See why you will love working at NWTC. POSITION SUMMARY Provide administrative support to Public Safety programs, trainings, and staff. Manage registration and third-party billing for Public Safety enrollments. Provide assistance to prospective EMS program students on completing the application through class enrollment. Attend recruitment events internally and externally to represent and assist with the admission process. Essential Functions Statement(s) Communicate with internal and external customers, in person, phone, text and email, to provide accurate information, direction and support. Compose original correspondence. Provide support to students and community organizations by serving as the primary contact for enrollment and other class requirements. Manage customer billing of courses including self, agency, state, and federal-funded class enrollment. Maintain student records. Market and recommend appropriate courses to students and community partners, while maintaining the third-party billing portal. Periodically support Public Safety contract training. Explain the admission process to prospective students and their support team. Maintain communication and guide students through the application process to course enrollment. Monitor and review criminal background checks and health record program requirements to identify need. Review, analyze, and update applicant data to ensure successful completion of the application checklist to matriculation. Collaborate with Public Safety Leadership and Coordinator Team on individual student program admission exceptions, exemptions, and reenrollment of students into programs and classes. Process and enter Public Safety registrations, academic transcripts, withdrawals, and other enrollment transactions. Collaborate on client reporting processes. Recommend, develop, and implement communication strategy to support prospective applicants and community organizations through the recruitment and admission. Collaborate with Public Safety staff on newsletters and other marketing materials. Plan, prepare materials for and attend recruitment events internally and externally speaking to large and small groups about Public Safety and the College. Prepare and process reports; review, research, and analyze data. Serve in cross-functional roles within the Public Safety team. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Three years related experience **An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
