Aerotek Saw Operator in Green Bay, Wisconsin

Are you mechanically inclined? Are you looking for a way to start a career in the skilled trades?

You will be working for an established manufacturing facility to assist with operating saws and other machinery to fabricate metal parts for the paper converting, military defense and industrial construction industries. You will also be working from written instructions and blueprints to ensure all projects are done to customer specifications. Job duties may include:

  • Operate automated saws to cut parts to specifications

  • Use micrometers and calipers to ensure cut parts are within desired parameters

  • Grind and deburr metal parts after they have been cut

  • Operated forklifts and overhead cranes to transport materials within the facility

  • Assist with other punch presses, brake presses and other fabrication machinery

Hours: 5:00AM to 3:00PM ; Monday - Thursday (4X10's)

Pay: $18.00 to $23.00/hr starting + performance appraisal after 90 days

Requirements:

  • 1-2+ years of previous saw operating, fabrication or construction experience preferred

  • Experience using air and power tools required

  • Experience working from blueprints preferred
