JOB REQUIREMENTS: Duties and Responsibilties of Job: Overview Green Bay Dressed Beef Processing, an American Foods Group company has an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Technician I at our East River plant in Green Bay, WI . As our Quality Assurance Technician I, you will: * Calibrate equipment. * Collect samples for testing. * Accurately prepare and process daily paperwork in an organized manner. * Perform visual line and finished product inspections to ensure conformance to specifications. * Place tags to hold or reject product, materials, or equipment not meeting specifications. * Notify supervisors or other personnel of production problems or stop production if serious product defects are present. * NOTE: this description is not intended to be all inclusive. An employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization; these duties are considered marginal. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications (Required): * Must be 18 years of age or older. * Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship. * High school diploma or GED. * Must be able to effectively communicate in English (speak, read, and write). * Must be able to work in a variety of work temperatures warm, hot, humid, cold, wet or with slippery surfaces at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). * Hours vary based on production needs and extended hours may be required. * Must be able to successfully complete training: * Safety. * Safe Quality Food (SQF). * Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). * Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP). * Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). * Food defense. Preferred Qualifications: * Prior quality assurance experience in a USDA inspected beef, pork, or poultry facility. * Prior production experience. * Work history in the last 12 months. * Ability to effectively communicate in Spanish (speak, read, and write).
