JBS USA MAINTENANCE MECHANIC - 2nd and 3rd shift in Green Bay, Wisconsin

Job Tasks and Qualifications:

  • Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.

  • Inspect mechanical equipment to locate damage, defects, or wear.

  • Test mechanical to ensure proper functioning.

  • Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, and hand tools, or power tools.

  • Disassemble equipment for maintenance or repair. Operate hoists, or other moving or lifting equipment.

  • Well versed with routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance.

  • Inspect mechanical components to identify problems.

  • Replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts.

  • Well versed with troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and repair as needed.

  • Familiarity with chains, sprockets, augers, and conveyors

  • Well versed with welding (TIG, MIG, stick)

  • Understanding and proper execution of routine preventive maintenance work orders

  • Well versed with basic plumbing and pipe work (pipe running, pipe fitting, pipe threading, running water & steam lines etc)

Capable of working at heights and atop ladders

Hours:

2nd shift: 2pm - 10:30pm

3rd shift: 10pm - 6:30am

$5000 STAY BONUS AFTER 12 MONTHS OF EMPLOYMENT - *MUST MEET QUALIFICATIONS ABOVE TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE STAY BONUS
