FAMILY SERVICES RESIDENTIAL Educational Aide in GREEN BAY, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Family Services is a non-profit organization that protects, heals and cares for children and families throughout Northeast Wisconsin. Family Services is strongly committed to protecting children and vulnerable individuals from abuse and exploitation. When traumatic situations occur, our staff is there to assist the individual or family with their journey of healing and recovery. Family Services cares for individuals who are isolated, abandoned or just need help developing the skills to live successfully. Family Services is recruiting an Educational Aide to become a part of an Integrated Service Team that meets the unique needs of children placed in our live-in Residential Treatment Program. Children served in our program usually range in age from 12 to 17 and are experiencing behavioral and emotional problems. The ideal candidate will be committed to developing strong working relationships with children, understanding their unique needs and responding to these needs in a collaborative, empowering and problem solving manner. Duties include direct classroom instruction using a web-based program for approximately 6-10 students. It will also include individual instruction and tutoring of students based on individual needs and assessments, as well as educational planning as directed by the Teacher. This position is a full time, year round position. The hours for this position are Monday Friday, 7:30a-3:30p. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to teamwork, are essential. Qualified applicants must possess a High School Diploma/GED and 1+ years\' working in an educational setting or experience working with at-risk youth.
