MASTER FLEET 2nd Shift Diesel Technician in GREEN BAY, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul buses and trucks, or maintain and repair any type of diesel engines. Includes mechanics working primarily with automobile or marine diesel engines. Job Summary: Have strong mechanical aptitude Diagnose and repairs problems Perform annual vehicle and safety inspections; preventative maintenance and other repairs as necessary. Comprehension and completion of the repair orders, inventory forms, PM schedules, repair forecasts. Prepare safety documents required by DOT, company and any other Federal, State or Local regulations The ability to use and reference technical manuals, service bulletins, diagrams and schematics. Periodically updates of responsibilities to reflect company and market needs Use handtools, such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, or precision instruments, as well as power tools, such as pneumatic wrenches, lathes, welding equipment, or jacks and hoists. Specialize in repairing and maintaining parts of the engine, such as fuel injection systems. Rewire ignition systems, lights, and instrument panels. Recondition and replace parts, pistons, bearings, gears, and valves. Rebuild gas or diesel engines. Raise trucks, buses, and heavy parts or equipment using hydraulic jacks or hoists. Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery. Operate valve-grinding machines to grind and reset valves. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications/Competencies: A valid drivers license is preferred Minimum of one year related industry experience. Must provide own tools. But we can help with our tool program.
