Crane Operator (Level B)Overhead Crane Operators will use the traveling overhead crane to manipulate material.General Expectations and ResponsibilitiesFollow ADF safety procedures and practices.Utilize the overhead crane to manipulate materials.Understand complex crane operations. Basic computer skills. Ability to fill out material movement sheets. Understands pitching and catching using a multi or tandem crane. Inspect cranes daily and report any concerns to the Foreman or safety department. Stap and secure loads to trailers properly. Excellent situational and hazard awareness. Understands the capabilities and limits of the cranes. Able to plan and manage time effectively. Utilize the proper rigging for the task at hand. Excellent communication skills. Basic mathematic skills and mechanical knowledge. Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Any other duties assigned.
