Dynatrace Product Owner (m/f/x) in Graz, Australia

Join one of our Licensing teams, where we're developing the next-generation account and subscription management platform. Our mission is to provide valuable insights into feature usage for our customers and internal customer-centric roles, along with notifications and functionality to control feature usage at various levels.

In Licensing, our teams specialize in microservices within their respective domains. These microservices are hosted in the cloud, utilizing Kubernetes for orchestration. Our tech stack primarily includes the latest versions of Java, Kafka, and Jetty, while our tool stack features Jenkins, ArgoCD, Gradle, and Terraform. We store data in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and the Dynatrace data lakehouse, Grail. Through automation, we ensure that all libraries we use are consistently updated to their latest versions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and prioritize the team backlog by collaborating with stakeholders to ensure it is well-maintained and conceptually sound.

  • Craft and align user stories, ensuring they are well-defined, aligned with the product strategy, and clarifying any details as needed.

  • Define and commit to epics by establishing clear landing zones and ensuring timely delivery of team commitments.

  • Balance stakeholder perspectives by acting as the team’s gatekeeper and considering various inputs.

  • Approve user stories by validating them against acceptance criteria and the Definition of Done.

  • Set Sprint goals in collaboration with the team to define clear and achievable objectives.

  • Challenge and understand requirements by diving deep into customer pain points to grasp the “What” and “Why” behind them.

  • Ensure transparency by making progress on backlog items visible and conducting thorough reviews for each sprint iteration.

  • Based on your background, you can also implement tasks and support the team by monitoring your services.

What will help you succeed

  • Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience in software development.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java development or comparable programming language.

  • Experience as a technical Product Owner.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at conveying complex technical concepts.

  • Collaborative and motivational team member with a proactive approach.

  • Skilled in managing and balancing stakeholder expectations and priorities.

Compensation Data

  • We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages .

  • Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 45,500 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
