River House, Inc Crisis line/Shelter assistant in Grayling, Michigan
The House Advocate is responsible for coverage of River House Shelter and Crisis Line. Coverage of the shelter consists of assisting the residents in meeting their emotional and physical needs, answering the crisis line, text line and emails. Conducting pre-
intake assessments, maintaining shelter safety, overseeing housekeeping and light physical maintenance of the inside of the shelter, and providing emergency on-call assistance and crisis intervention services.
This is a part-time position, up to 28 hours per week/ up to 56 hours per pay period. Hours are 8:00 am-8:00 pm Sat./Sun.
Starting pay is 11.25/hr
