What’s Required:
- High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities
Prepare the operating room for upcoming surgeries
Sterilize equipment and stock up any necessary supplies
Prepare patients for their procedures
Sterilize equipment and hand surgeons instruments upon request
Order and take inventory of supplies and maintain files and records of procedures
Requirements & Skills
Test equipment for proper functioning.
Maintain adequate inventory of sterile and non-sterile supplies.
Set up case cares for surgical procedures on a routine and emergency basis.
Perform daily maintenance on cleaning and sterilizing equipment placed within the department.
Embraces, communicates and participates in ensuring departmental compliance with AAMI standards and The Joint Commission readiness.
