Industrial Electrician
Pay Rate - $30/hr.+ (1st shift)
Job Description
Support and implement changes, revisions, and upgrades on all existing programmable controlled systems.
Understand the purpose and function of components in systems (Breakers, relays, encoders, displays, servos, all ladder logic, counters, leak testers, monitoring, communications, etc.).
Coordinate spare parts manufacture using the machine building group.
Understand all electrical and machine program documentation as it relates to assembly equipment.
Support initial setup & startup of new systems, related to the Assembly Department.
Perform changes to data points within the systems as needed. Execute testing of system programs and observe readout on monitor of computer system to detect errors or work stoppages.
Perform machine program changes to correct system errors. Communicate with the engineering group regarding all upgrades/machine changes.
Determine available I/O, when required. Develop/select appropriate methods of component and/or function sensing.
Ensure proper wiring codes and conventions are followed. Coordinate panel layout and fabrication during machine systems upgrade implementations.
Maintain record of time spent on various projects.
Make machine upgrades during PM’s, which may require overtime. Coordinate the activities of the machine building group.
Continue the implementation of predictive/preventative maintenance using the ISO 9000 format.
Update PM procedures as needed. Have direct involvement in productivity improvements.
Skills
Experience with programmable controlled systems
Knowledge of electrical and machine program documentation
Ability to perform system debugging and troubleshooting
Competence in handling machine program changes
Familiarity with ISO guidelines and AEC change procedures

This is a fully on-site position in Grandview, Missouri.
Work Environment
Climate controlled production environment. 1st shift: 7am - 3:30pm M-F but on call
