Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS) is the group responsible for leading Ericsson's Enterprise Networking and Security business. How Will You Contribute to the Company?

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for sales within Public Sector (State, Local, K-12 and Higher Education) focusing on new customer acquisition, customer retention, and growth opportunities with the current customer base. The Regional Sales Manager will be in daily contact with current and prospective customers within the assigned region. The incumbent will manage opportunities, up-selling current accounts, and will solicit new business opportunities in the region. Working closely with the Inside Sales Team, the RSM will support all regional sales needs and will drive growth in the market. The RSM will be responsible for public sector within the region.

This position will be based in Michigan.

What Will You Do?

  • Relationship Building: Establish professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts in a specified region
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate company personnel to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations
  • Sales Targets: Achieve profitable sales volume targets and sales quotas in designated accounts
  • Customer Focus: Proactively assess and validate customer needs while maintaining high customer satisfaction
  • Account Management: Complete account plans, utilize CRM, and provide regular reports on accounts and sales figures

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, along with at least eight (8+) years of real sales experience
  • Must reside in the respective region
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the Wireless (Cellular and Wi-Fi), IT Security and/or Networking market
  • Wireless, IT Security, and Networking Expertise: Experience in managing complex sales environments and demanding customer accounts
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Highly competitive and entrepreneurial with a passion for tackling challenging opportunities
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
