G.A. Richards Company Material Handler - 1st Shift in Grand Rapids, Michigan
Pay Range: $15 - $21/hr
Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401K and PTO after 90 days!
Summary: Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Communicate with receiving coordinator and materials department
Transport incoming material from receiving area to warehouse or work cell
Responsible for making sure all material us labeled (yellow tags) and facing out in locations
Rotate and consolidate inventory using 'LEAN' work practices
De-trash all incoming skids and disposition to proper locations
Maintain and monitor all visual re-order and Kan ban programs
Constant dedication to housekeeping; pride in a clean and organized workplace
