Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift
Grand Rapids, MI
3rd Shift (11PM-7AM)
$25-28/hour
Job Description
You will be responsible for the maintenance and support of product-specific work cells to minimize downtime and optimize productivity. Working with power transmission mechanical systems such as conveyors, gearboxes, and fluid transfer in the mixing/mill area. You will respond to any downtime situations to get the machinery back up and running, perform preventative maintenance, document maintenance activities, and evaluate potential future maintenance needs.
Perform maintenance and support of product-specific work cells.
Minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
Respond to downtime situations to get machinery back up and running.
Perform preventative maintenance on work cells.
Perform process verification procedures and follow process deviation procedures when changing parameters.
Conduct repairs such as fabricating, replacing bearings, and repairing/replacing hydraulic pumps and cooling pumps.
Maintain conveyors, belts, drives, and drive material transfers.
Perform minor facility maintenance repairs.
Work closely with team members on maintenance issues.
Essential Skills
5 years of experience performing maintenance and preventative maintenance.
3 years of experience with hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.
3 years of experience reading blueprints.
Experience in facilities maintenance.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00
