Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the Legal industry in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We're in need of a Legal Assistant to join our team. In this role, you'll be tasked with the responsibility of providing support to two attorneys, handling electronic filing, and dealing with matters related to personal injury litigation and labor law.

Responsibilities:

• Assist two attorneys in managing and organizing various legal documents

• Handle electronic filing of legal documents efficiently

• Provide support in personal injury litigation cases

• Engage in labor law related tasks as required

• Ensure accurate calendar management for scheduling and tracking important dates and deadlines

• Maintain and monitor accurate customer records

• Take necessary actions on customer accounts when required

• Process and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner. Requirements • Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or a relevant role in the legal field

• Proficiency in e-Filing and managing legal documents with high attention to detail

• Advanced skills in calendar management, able to coordinate and schedule court dates and meetings efficiently

• Demonstrable experience in preparing and processing legal pleadings and other legal documents

• Familiarity with personal injury litigation, including processes and terminologies

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask, prioritizing tasks as needed

• Proficient in using office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases

• A keen understanding of legal terminology and principles

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
