DeWys Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking Inside Sales Representative for our DeWys Stainless Solutions Team.

The Inside Sales Representative is a strategic member of the DeWys Stainless Solutions team who drives exemplary customer service and enhances the customer experience.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about developing solutions and driving sales growth, streamlining activities, and enhancing profitability that are in the best interest of DeWys and its customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and maintain new and existing customer relationships.
  • Responsible for the development and growth of new and existing customers with coordination with the General Manager and Sales Representatives. This will require an open-minded attitude and the will to grow the company as quickly and profitably as possible.
  • Ensure accurate data entry of customer orders into the system.
  • Keep customers informed on the status of their orders and have proactive communication on any delays.
  • Handle modifications or cancellations as per customer requests.
  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure customer orders are prioritized and scheduled appropriately. Provide customers with real-time updates on production schedules and addressing any concerns quickly.
  • Act as a bridge between customers and the production team to ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated.
  • Communicate with customers on a regular basis either in person, by telephone or email or visiting customer facilities to understand the application of their products, processes and assist in a cooperative planning processes.
  • Analyze customers' portfolio and needs and suggest product design solutions and improvement ideas to keep account competitive and profitable.
  • Drive activities that promote proactive communication and enhance customer experience: activities can include review Open Work Order/Open Sales Order Dashboards, track order progression through shop.
  • Initiate and lead cost reduction meetings with key DeWys stakeholders: recommend changes in processes, use of materials, equipment or services which would result in process enhancements, cost reductions and/or better service for our customers.
  • Project manages new programs for new and existing customers; drive accountability, communication and follow through with all stakeholders through from initial request for quote through first run completed in production.
  • Track and drive activities to achieve sales performance metrics.
  • Assists in the development of short and long term sales forecasting plan.
  • Maintains master files on customer profiles including product information and management/key personnel contacts, pricing data and quotations.
  • Responds to all customer concerns regarding billing, services rendered, or products received, referring complaints of service failure to designated internal departments for further investigation. Assists Quality Assurance and manufacturing in prompt rework, replacement, or credit of nonconforming products.
  • Review customer part profitability trends and drive initiatives for customer and part profitability.
  • Support local materials group with various duties
  • Support local cycle count program
  • Coordination and collaboration between all DeWys entities
  • Other tasks assigned by the General Manager.
