Wedgwood Christian Services Behavior Technician Trainer BCaBA (Full-time) in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Behavior Technician Trainers train Applied Behavior Technicians (ABTs) and, under supervision of BCBAs, oversee their implementation of behavioral intervention programming for children with autism spectrum disorders in the Autism Center for Child Development.
*Pay Range: *$24-26 per hour
HOURS OF WORK: *FT: *Monday- Thursday afternoons, 36 hours; schedule arranged with the Director of the ACCD
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree from an accredited program.
- Certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA).
- Licensed to practice behavior analysis in the state of Michigan.
- At least one year of experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders.
- Evidence of being able to communicate expressively and receptively.
- Subscription to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Youth and Family Services and agreement with the goal, purpose, and objectives of the agency.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Train ABTs.
- Conduct initial training and orientation of new employees, coordinate trainings with Department Assistant and other Wedgwood staff.

``` - Conduct regular treatment integrity assessments. - Provide support to ABTs as they implement behavioral programming - Assist in development and implementation of growth plans as needed - Conduct trainings for ACCD staff on topics relevant to the ACCD (under the supervision of a BCBA or BCBA-D) - Conduct initial and annual competency assessments for RBTs. - Participate in weekly group supervision of ABTs. - Under supervision of BCBAs, assist in the design of, and oversee the implementation of, programming for young children with autism spectrum disorders. - Conduct initial and ongoing verbal behavior/language and skills assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, AFLS). - Conduct functional assessments/analyses as indicated - Assist BCBAs in developing goals based on assessment information and family priorities. - Write protocols for skills acquisition and behavior reduction targets based on the best available evidence and clinical judgment. - Train parents, educators, and other stakeholders on client programming and behavioral principles. - Coordinate with the Department Assistant to ensure smooth operation of ACCD business (e.g., parent arrival, staff issues, scheduling). - Maintain minimum billable client treatment requirements. - Maintain privacy and confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations and ACCD policies. - Use the knowledge and skills of his/her supervisor to increase understanding of treatment programming and leadership skills to further professional development. - Participate in required trainings. - Maintain current BACB certification. - Other tasks assigned
