About the unit

Corewell Health Behavioral Health has an opening for a part time Admin Support Coordinator who will work closely with our team of Clinical Program Specialists who support our community.

About Outpatient Clinics

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Scope of work

This support coordinator position will work closely with a small team of professionals who provide suicide prevention education to hundreds of community partners in the West Michigan area. This position will include frequent travel opportunities, in multiple counties, during the academic school year. The candidate will attend off-site trainings as a site coordinator, supporting multiple team members by greeting participants, distributing pre/post surveys and materials to participants, assisting the trainer and performing routine training reporting functions. During the days when there are less trainings scheduled, their time will be balanced with more administrative support to the team to organize, order, and track program material purchases, including training supplies for multiple team members. Having strong team work interactions, organization skills, and access to a reliable vehicle are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

  • Required Associate's Degree specific course work in office administration/secretarial science or equivalent level of education and experience

  • 2 years of relevant experience secretarial, computer experience, administrative projects, program management, office, statistical data collection and analysis, working in a high volume service industry working in business or accounting, cash handling, data systems, managed care, Medicare product industry, experience dealing with the public preferably in the medical or customer service field, database development, relevant clinical, directing the workload of others, specimen collection and client services, health care environment, hospital/physician/clerical experience, or experience in a medical research environment Required
