Performs technical planning, system administration, network integration, and validation for computer systems, intended for support of engineering programs. Administration, development, and implementation of computer systems related to user or system design specifications; applying systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users or projects to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications. Provide advanced systems administrations techniques for existing/future engineering projects, programs or systems.

The Locale: Grand Prairie is part of the “Mid-Cities” region in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of Texas. Grand Prairie is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth. The region is home to numerous colleges and universities to include University of Texas at Dallas, University of Texas at Arlington, University of North Texas, Southern Methodist University, and Texas Woman's University. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience / combined education
Ability to get and maintain a DOD security clearance, and customers' acceptance
Knowledge and experience with system administration of heterogeneous networks including Windows 7/10, Windows Server12 and/or Linux
Five or more years of related experience with a bachelor's degree or 3 or more years with a master's.
Prefer Security+, CISSP, or other IAT Level II/III security certification.
Experience with Active Directory domains and/or (Linux) NIS domains.
Scripting ability to support system administration (bash, Perl, Python, WinBatch, VBScript, PowerShell, etc.).
Knowledge of RMF/JSIG security controls and environments
Experience managing Comm-sec equipment, encryptors and administration applications.
Advanced skills developing and maintaining Windows baselines, including security settings and Windows/Linux hardening. (STIGS)
Strong organization and interpersonal skills to provide support to systems administration teams and end-user customers and program management.
