Implements Human Resources policies, partnering with business operations to ensure a complete understanding of business needs and objectives and resolves HR issues. Responsible for and/or serves as a HR liaison for most of the following areas: succession planning, talent management, labor relations, employment, employee relations, Affirmative Action policies, compensation, benefits, EEO, and/or training and development.

  • Provide support and strategic leadership to meet business objectives for AAR Component Services

  • Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance, i.e. Affirmative Action, EEO, Department of Labor

  • Guides and manages the overall provision of Human Resource services, policies, and programs for company, including:

  • Strong recruiting and staffing skills

  • Performance management and improvement systems

  • Compensation management

  • Organizational development

  • Compliance of federal, state laws and regulations as well as company policy

  • Strong employee relation skills

  • Experience with performance management and succession planning

  • Employee development, training and retention

  • Manage unemployment

  • Understands need for and document human resource processes

  • Review company and department analyses costs, operations, and forecast data to determine progress toward stated financial goals and objective

  • Act as catalyst for change management and provide leadership in these initiatives

  • Other various duties as assigned or needed

Qualifications:

· Strong written and verbal communication skills with all levels within the organization

· Excellent recruiting skills and experience

· Strong employee relations experience

· Good representative of Company and community

· Working knowledge of FAA Drug and Alcohol requirements, safety sensitive and non-safety sensitive

· Bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years’ experience or 10-12 years’ relatable human resource experience.
