The legal intern at the MFC business area will support the MFC legal department in its provision of legal advice and counsel to internal business and functional clients concerning the legal rights, contractual obligations, privileges, and risks of the company; conduct legal research; participate in meetings within the legal department and meetings with clients of the department; support government contracting matters; help review subcontract terms and conditions, agreements, and related documents; and perform special projects as assigned by various personnel within the legal department.
This position will be a paid Summer 2025 opportunity where the selected team member will work a hybrid in-person and telework schedule. Candidate will be required to work in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.
This opportunity is open to L1 students at ABA-accredited law schools in the United States who will have completed their first year of law school before the internship begins in Summer 2025.
Basic Qualifications:
• Current law student in good standing at an ABA-accredited law school who will have completed their first year of law school before the internship begins in Summer 2025.
• Must be US Citizen

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
