QC Technician II

Job Description

Position Summary:

QC Technician II performs daily sampling and testing of the manufacturing facility’s water system to ensure it meets regulatory requirements for WFI following established methods and SOPs in accordance with cGMPs.

Seeking a self-motivated individual with strong communication and operational skills to coordinate and execute testing processes as defined in standard operating procedures with limited supervision or guidance. Candidate must be able to work independently, as well as on teams within the Microbiology and Environmental Quality Control Laboratories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect water samples from throughout the facility and analyze samples for TOC, conductivity, endotoxin, and bioburden while adhering to cGMP's, SOP's, and all safety regulations as they apply to the laboratory.

• Demonstrate judgment, tact, and diplomacy in dealing with internal and external customers.

• Gain proficiency in all testing areas required. Responsible for maintaining department equipment and requesting consumables as needed. Understand and exercise all safety requirements and procedures.

• Support all company policies, participate in achieving department goals, and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 26 Weekly.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Grand Island, New York.
