Alight Application Management, Lead Specialist in Granada, Spain
As a member of the DevelopmentTeam, a consulting unit of specialists working on different client projects. The ABAP Developer will be required to program the client's programming requirements based on the provided specifications, and to provide system support/ technical knowledge to the project team throughout the project cycle.
Main responsibilities & key accountabilities
Create technical specifications of programs/ interfaces based on functional specifications provided.
Implement the client's requirements using technologies such as ABAP/4, SAP Script, etc according to the design documentation and template guidelines utilizing/ creating reusable code that is easily upgradeable/ maintainable.
Ensure that the programs/ interfaces are Unit Tested including created sufficient test data (such as employee master records) to complete scenario testing.
Support clients through the User Acceptance, Parallel Testing and Go-Live phases.
Upgrade programs to be compatible with new releases of R/3 (such as Enterprise/ mySAP ERP).
