Summary This position is located at FMWR, Marketing Division, Tower Barracks (Grafenwoehr). Responsibilities Formulates and implements marketing policy and procedure for MWR programs. Recommends priorities, develops plans and directs the execution of market research, analysis and assessment. Develops long and short-range marketing operation plans. Evaluates effectiveness through attainment of goals and analysis of business trends and market share. Develops sales, promotional and merchandising strategies, brochures and pamphlets. Identifies and analyzes customer needs and satisfaction. Assists program managers develop internal customer service training programs. Directs subordinate staff in assisting managers market and promote their programs. This includes advertising, event marketing, sales campaigns, sales promotions, radio and television production graphic art design, and development of MWR publications. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Demonstrated related work experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the Marketing Manager. Work experience must have be equivalent in complexity, difficulty and responsibility to the next lower pay band level. Work experience developing market research programs, data analysis, business practices and economic principals. OR Completion of the requirements for a master's or equivalent graduate degree in marketing, advertising or closely related field. Specialized education developing market research programs, data analysis, business practices and economic principals. Best Qualifying Criteria Minimum of 3 years of work experience with Graphics Design using Adobe Creative Cloud Minimum of 1 year of work experience in Content Management and Googly Analytics Professional work experience in writing, designing and editing articles, magazines, or newsletters Professional experience working with Adobe Premiere Highly Preferred Criteria Minimum of 3 year of work experience as a Marketing Specialist Proficient or daily user of Web Content Management, social media and Google Analytics Proficient or daily user of Adobe Creative Cloud with emphasis on Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and A365 Minimum of two (2) years of working experience with Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) Work experience with development, implementation, and execution of Strategic Planning. Pay-Band Allowances and Differentials Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. Sunday premium may be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
