Job Title: Automation and Robotics Technician
Job Description
As an Automation and Robotics Technician, you will be responsible for effectively troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining robots and automated equipment across various plants. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of advanced machinery and systems, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
Complete advanced troubleshooting on 3-phase 480v systems and electrical circuits.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and install automated machinery including VFDs, HMIs, PLCs, and robots.
Repair and install hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Program or reroute robotic systems.
Maintain facilities, including compressors, air tanks, plumbing, lighting, and overhead cranes, as necessary.
Execute an extensive preventative maintenance (PM) program.
Perform basic housekeeping tasks such as cleaning floors and work areas.
Utilize multi-meters and other electrical testing equipment.
Interpret manuals, schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic to assist with troubleshooting.
Essential Skills
Experience in electrical system installation.
PLC troubleshooting experience.
Experience in automation.
Proficiency in completing both mechanical and electrical repairs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
PLC programming experience.
Certificates in robotics or PLCs.

Work Environment
You will work in various plants within our division, which includes powder coating plants, fabrication plants, and automated plants. The standard work hours are from 6am to 2:30pm, with some overtime required. The typical workweek is roughly 40-45 hours.

This is a Permanent position based out of Goshen, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00
