Immediate opening for an experienced Human Resources Manager in Smith County in middle Tennessee. We are seeking an HR professional with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing setting and skilled in wearing many HR and Safety department hats. A BS degree is required as well as OSHA and First Responder training. The EHS and Purchasing departments report to the HR Manager so experience in those areas is required. PHR certification is preferred but not required. This direct hire opportunity is offered by an established business partner and offers competitive salary and benefits as well as work/life balance. Recruits and onboards new employees
Maintains employee records, OSHA records, and OJT training files
Handles compensation and employee evaluations
Benefits administration
Manages the EHS and supports all safety initiatives
Provides training throughout the company
Manages the Purchasing department
