Aerotek Electrical Automation Technician in Goose Creek, South Carolina
Aerotek is looking for an Electrical Automation Technician paying $40-$42/hr!!
This is a direct placement working a rotating dupont shift.

Looking for candidates who are proficient at troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment and can work independently as well as on a team. This is a hands on role. Not going to be sitting at a desk but walking around the plant and diagnosing and resolving issues to keep the 24/7 operations running.
Job Description:
-Perform motor drive system preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on Siemens and Rockwell families of drive systems.
-Inspect, maintain, repair and overhaul solid-state low voltage (<600VAC) motor control systems for primary plant equipment (AC and DC up to 3,000hp) and support equipment (EOT cranes, evaporative cooling tower systems, air compressors, etc)
-Troubleshooting using PLC interface for diagnostics.
-Assist in the installation, start-up, and commissioning of new equipment, as required
-Maintain accurate and complete records of equipment maintenance activities.
Must have:
3+ years experience in manufacturing environment with automation, calibrated instrumentation, electrical and mechanical repairs, laptop to PLC interface, etc
Ability to read and interpret complex electronic/electrical drawings and specifications
Knowledge of PLC logic, industrial automation & control systems, in-line measurement systems, hydraulics & pneumatics, etc.
Able to systematically troubleshoot problems for highly technical equipment and instrumentation
Safely able to operate a forklift and aerial lift on occasion
