We are seeking an experienced Operations Technician to join our team at a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production line, including fabrication, assembly, and maintenance tasks. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Experience with Plastic Mold Injection Machines, preferred
- Oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing facility, including monitoring production lines, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.\ - Operate power tools, hand tools, and forklifts to fabricate and assemble products.\ - Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and production issues in a timely and efficient manner.\ - Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.\ - Collaborate with other technicians and production staff to optimize production efficiency and quality.\ - Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet quality standards.\ - Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and increase productivity.\ - Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, production levels, and inventory levels.\ - Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations and report any safety concerns or incidents to management.
Skills:
- Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing facility.\ - Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to operate power tools and hand tools.\ - Familiarity with assembly lines and the ability to fabricate and assemble products.\ - Proficiency in operating a forklift or other material handling equipment.\ - Knowledge of factory safety regulations and best practices.\ - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.\ - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.\ - Excellent communication and organizational skills.\ - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
