Honeywell’s ACST team is seeking a Sr Fabrication Shop Supervisor for our Golden Valley, MN location.
Citizenship Required: United States Citizenship
Clearance Required: Yes; you must either currently have or be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance.
Telecommute: No - Teleworking not available for this position
Travel Required: Some travel required – 10%

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
Directly supervise the day-to-day operations of the fabrication team
Leading a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to develop, implement and maintain methods and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
Support the strategic direction and initiatives that identify cost reduction and yield improvement opportunities.
Understand demands and maintain appropriate staffing and training plans
Partner with health and safety departments to maintain and improve safe working conditions
Drive an accountability culture, track and report metrics
Ensure compliance with Honeywell standards
Develop and manage talent
Review quality of output and coach team on improvements
Collaborate with customers and cross functional teams
Assist in training staff to enable top performance
Coordinates proper work allocations to ensure stable operations
US CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
YOU MUST HAVE:
3+ Years of experience as a manufacturing supervisor
High School graduate or equivalent experience.
Ability to lead, motivate, develop and mentor others
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements

5+ Years of experience as a manufacturing supervisor
Bachelor's degree in manufacturing
Proficient project management skills
Experience operating various metal fabrication equipment
Understanding of applicable industry standards and security practices
Ability to troubleshoot processes and equipment
Proactive and results-oriented mindset
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Continuous learning and self development
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
SAP knowledge is a plus
