Robert Half Bookkeeper in Golden Valley, Minnesota
Description We are in search of a Bookkeeper to join our team in Golden Valley, Minnesota. This role involves managing financial transactions, maintaining financial records, and providing administrative support.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily financial transactions such as accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of financial data in line with company policies and procedures
• Handle bill payments involving foreign currencies
• Foster positive relationships with local and international vendors
• Generate and interpret financial reports using QuickBooks to provide insights into the company's financial health
• Aid in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Create ad hoc reports and analysis as needed
• Exhibit proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft 365 suite, including SharePoint
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure accurate reporting
• Review, document, and assist in the implementation of accounting policies, process improvements, and internal control procedures
• Efficiently communicate with team members and management to address financial inquiries
• Manage payroll and bi-monthly processing
• Liaise with benefit providers and update information to management and staff in a timely manner
• Provide administrative support as needed. Requirements • Must possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is required
• Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary
• Should have experience in Bank Reconciliations
• Must have a solid background in Bookkeeping
• Capable of performing accurate Data Entry tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
• Experience with QuickBooks is highly desirable
