While no experience is required, your dedication and commitment to being on time, reliable, trainable and accountable in the role of Medial Secretary are a must!
You will be trained, coached and evaluated on your motivation and proficiency during your 90-day probation period on the following duties as required:

Ideal candidates have a positive work ethic, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills. As a medical Secretary, your primary responsibility is to ensure that all patients have a positive office visit, other responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned:
The daily duties of a Medical Secretary can vary greatly from day to day. However, here are some general duties that most individuals who hold this position are expected to perform include the following in addition to other essential duties as assaigned:
- Maintain appointment schedules
- Greet patients and visitors
- Check patients in and out, including the collection and verification of necessary information and documentation
- Prepare and maintain patient charts, records and medical histories
- Arrange patient referrals
- Transcribe and type medical reports
- Manage telephone and electronic communications
- Bill patients and third-party payers
- Process payments and insurance claims
Hours are 9:00am-5:00, no weekends or holidays, starting wages15.00
