We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity at the newly constructed electric vehicle battery manufacturing plant. This is a performance based, 12-year, O&M contract providing hard services of MEP equipment within the facility, excluding the manufacturing and production equipment. The objective is to maintain a seamless environment by assuring that equipment is performing to specifications to facilitate uninterrupted manufacturing and administrative functions.

What you will do:

We are looking for a skilled specialist who has worked in commercial, industrial, and/or institutional markets to join our team. The specialist must be a skilled craftsman in their trade, and we prefer a minimum of five (5) years actual, practical working experience in the HVAC plumbing, pipefitting and/or mechanical equipment service industry. You may be required to pass a satisfactory examination as to your special skill.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in accordance with building codes and manufacturer specifications.

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.

  • Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems using hand and power tools.

  • Conduct performance tests and adjustments on HVAC systems to meet specified requirements.

  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and work performed.

  • Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.

  • Stay updated on industry advancements, regulations, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies and procedures at all times.

  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and resolving issues professionally.

Preferred Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Valid HVAC Mechanical Journeymen license.

  • Proven experience as an HVAC Mechanical Journeymen or in a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

  • Flexibility to work on-call or during emergencies, as required.
