Responsibilities
This job is responsible for planning, supervising and evaluating the daily operations in the assigned pharmacy facility to provide pharmaceutical care activities and services in accordance with established policies, procedures, standards and regulatory requirements. An incumbent ensures the provision of
professional, effective, efficient, safe, and accurate medication distribution practices. Work also includes: 1) responsibility for meeting financial objectives in labor, revenue and gross margins; 2) evaluating department effectiveness; 3) ensuring optimum staffing levels; 4) overseeing the workflow of
subordinate staff, 5) meeting regulatory requirements and standards and 6) performing all pharmacist department activities, as necessary.
Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or BS in pharmacy
4+ years related experience
1+ year of supervisory or lead experience or successful completion of a Pharmacy Administrative Residency
Active Pharmacist License in good standing in the state in which the employee works
Pay Range
$71.88 - $104.23 /hour
