Responsibilities Job Summary Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer for the Medical Group Urgent Care, this position is accountable for the direction, planning, coordinating, implementing and leading initiatives for Medical Group Physicians and Advance Practitioners. This position provides direct patient contact and evaluation related to the practice of primary care medicine. The position is approximately 90% clinical and 10% administrative. Provide direct primary patient care in accordance with evidence-based treatment guidelines for HonorHealth patients. Deliver care in a team-centered approach; interact with patients, case team, and families to keep them informed and engaged in the decisions and direction of health care while maintaining confidentiality. Refer patients as appropriate for specialty care services, physical therapy, diagnostic imaging, and employee assistance and human resources and using HonorHealth resources whenever possible. Participates in administrative call 1 week per month assistance with corrective action. Assist with Patient complaints. Help with review of policy and procedures Implementation. Assist Operations leads. Clinic workflow changes includes assistance with staff. Focus on throughput training. Education on billing and coding Trains staff and clinicians on workflow changes Works on UC related projects Leadership meetings Leadership rounding Projects, workflow Help with review of policy and procedures in conjunction with Ops lead & implementation. Participate in call rotation (admin call shared) Share lead with subgroups Help lead and coach staff and clinicians. Qualifications Education M.D. or D.O. with Board Certification in Family Medicine Required Experience 5 years Physician leadership experience Required 5 years Experience working as part of a collaborative team Required Licenses and Certifications Active State Medical License Required
