Description
Summary: The maintenance supervisor is responsible for grounds and facilities maintenance, attractions, and water quality. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee the implementation of Park and Department Policies and ProceduresSupervise department employees. This includes daily work assignments, training, scheduling, commendation, discipline, etc.Ensure attractions are maintained to the highest levels of Quality, Reliability and SafetyCompleting daily pre-opening safety inspections of slides and attractionsMaking general repairs throughout the park as neededRespond to attraction shutdowns during park operation and safely return the attraction to operationDemonstrate and continually train the Six Flags Mantra of Friendly, Clean, Fast, and Safe ServiceProvide a work environment that demonstrates leadership, cooperation, policy enforcement, safety, communication and motivationAssist with and perform water treatment job duties
All other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications: Ability to handle multiple tasks at any given moment. Working under pressure to be expectedCPO Certified or in process of being certifiedA working knowledge of OSHA and other regulatory agencies rules and regulationsMust have basic knowledge of mechanical systems such as: pumps, pool filtration, motors, irrigation networks, etc.Must possess strong leadership and motivational skills with attention to detailMust possess a valid driver’s licenseMust be able to access all areas of the park and able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.Must be capable of bending, squatting, and kneelingMust be able to work outdoors in all-weather conditions
