Robert Half Medical Billing Specialist in Glen Rock, New Jersey
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Billing Specialist in Glen Rock, New Jersey. The role primarily involves working in the healthcare industry, focusing on maintaining and processing customer applications and records.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications with high efficiency
• Utilize Allscripts and Cerner Technologies for administrative tasks
• Manage and maintain accurate customer credit records
• Resolve customer inquiries and issues related to billing
• Use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) and EHR SYSTEM for processing and recording data
• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and review appeals
• Perform benefit functions and billing functions appropriately
• Administer claims and ensure all billing procedures are adhered to
• Monitor customer accounts and execute the necessary actions
• Use Epaces for managing electronic billing processes. Requirements • Proficiency in using Allscripts software
• Familiarity with Cerner Technologies
• Proficiency in Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE)
• Experience with EHR SYSTEM
• Knowledge of Epaces
• Ability to handle Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with Appeals processes
• Understanding of Benefit Functions
• Proficiency in Billing Functions
• Experience in Claim Administration
