ManpowerGroup Refrigeration Mechanic in Gilroy, California
Our client, a food manufacturing/processing plant in Gilroy California is seeking a Refrigeration Mechanic to join their team. As a Refrigeration Mechanic, you will be part of the Production and Safety Teams, supporting Sales and Production Operations. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial refrigeration equipment (ammonia & freon), EPA 608 & CIRO certification, and great attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Gilroy, California
Pay Range: $25.00 - $37.00/hr. (D.O.E.)
What’s the Job?
Troubleshooting and repair of industrial refrigeration equipment.
Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly inspections.
Complete regular preventative maintenance services on evaporators, condensers, valves, electrical cabinets, safety resources and other related equipment.
Respond quickly and efficiently to reported breakdowns
Maintain regular logs of equipment maintenance, repairs and inspections.
What’s Needed?
High School Diploma and good command of the English language, written and spoken.
Previous experience with hand tools, including wrenches, drills, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing ammonia refrigeration systems, preferably in a food production environment.
RETA or CIRO Certification , EPA608 Certification.
Basic digital communications literacy (smartphones, email, texting).
