Adecco is currently seeking a Landscape Laborer to fulfill a vital role in maintaining property grounds for one of our esteemed clients. Reporting directly to the Lead Landscaper, you'll play a crucial part in enhancing the beauty and functionality of company-owned properties. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Environmental Caretaker: Keep property grounds pristine by collecting and disposing of litter and waste materials.

  • Tool Mastery: Utilize a range of maintenance equipment, from shovels and rakes to power tools and vehicles, to complete tasks efficiently.

  • Hydration Specialist: Ensure the health and vitality of lawns, trees, and plants by appropriately watering them using various irrigation methods.

  • Greenery Grooming: Trim trees, maintain flower beds, and tend to vegetation to uphold aesthetic standards.

  • Winter Warrior: Perform snow removal and shoveling duties during the winter months to maintain safe and accessible pathways.

  • Creative Landscaping: Assist in planning and cultivating lawns, gardens, and specialty features according to landscaping designs.

  • Chemical Expertise: Prepare and apply chemicals such as fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides as needed, following safety protocols.

  • System Maintenance: Conduct regular upkeep and seasonal maintenance on irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance.

  • Feature Installation: Assist in installing and maintaining specialty features like rock gardens, retaining walls, and playground equipment.

  • Versatile Support: Undertake additional duties as assigned, providing essential support to the landscaping team.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Communication Savvy: Possess strong verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

  • Groundskeeping Proficiency: Demonstrate a basic understanding of groundskeeping and landscaping practices.

  • Efficiency Expert: Work efficiently and thoroughly to complete tasks to the highest standard.

  • Direction Follower: Ability to follow instructions accurately and execute tasks accordingly.

  • Plant Care Expertise: Thorough understanding of plant care techniques and requirements.

  • Equipment Operator: Proficiency in operating various power equipment and hand tools used in landscaping.

Education and Experience:

  • Training Provided: On-the-job training will be offered to support your professional development.

  • Pesticide Training: Completion of applicable pesticide training is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Active Lifestyle: Ability to engage in prolonged periods of physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.

  • Strength and Stamina: Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and operating power equipment.

  • Weather Resilience: Willingness to work in various weather conditions to fulfill job duties.

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
