Job Title: Project Manager
Job Description
We are currently looking for a Project Manager for our office due to growth. This role requires managing construction projects to ensure they progress on schedule and stay within budget. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing project profit and loss, reviewing project proposals, and determining budget, timeframes, and staffing requirements.
Responsibilities
Provide overall project management direction for construction projects.
Ensure projects progress on schedule and within prescribed budget.
Responsible for project profit and loss.
Review project proposals to determine budget, time frames, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources.
Outline work plan and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project staff.
Award subcontracts and issue purchase orders.
Arrange all permits, drawings, and submittals required.
Negotiate and execute all change orders.
Prepare project reports for management, clients, and others.
Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve any problems.
Modify schedules or plans as required.
Prepare and maintain job costs on a daily/weekly basis and review with project personnel.
Monitor project closeout: final quantities, final change orders, and final releases from agreements.
Obtain letter of acceptance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
Minimum of 4-5 years project management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working on heavy civil construction projects.
Experience working on parks and recreation projects is a plus.
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Knowledge of leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Ability to produce timely results of high quality and accuracy.
Strong problem-solving skills with a strong technical orientation.
Ability to weigh decisions carefully and thoroughly based on expertise to avoid unpredictable risk.
Willingness to travel.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
