Lead a team of Estimators, to provide Cost Consultancy services for Data Centre Construction
- Manage resources efficiently and balance the needs of stakeholders carefully in decision-making, including internal and external factors for success.
- Implement best practice estimating processes and methodologies, incorporating industry-specific best practices and leveraging innovative techniques for improved efficiency.
- Specialize in conceptual estimating within the estimating domain, offering expert guidance and support to team members in these areas.
- Mentor and coach estimators, fostering their professional development and promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Provide reporting on key-performance-indicators to assess the performance of the organization and the team against a set of metrics determined by industry standards and present to Client.
Provide estimating advice, guidance, and analysis and present formal estimating reports for project estimates including quantity, cost, escalation, and other assumptions and clarifications to project stakeholders
Perform cost risk analysis and provide input into value engineering; negotiate and approve final accounts.
Develop White Paper market reports for Data Center Cost Management.
Manage Internal Systems for POs, Invoicing, Risk Management
Build business capability by anticipating future challenges and opportunities for clients, and implementing new estimating services that align with changes to the best standards held within the industry
Create business opportunity through business development, key client development, and opportunity tracking within the region utilizing local knowledge and expertise of estimating needs, clients, and development.
Lead the effort to win new work by leading bids for estimating scopes of work, presenting to potential clients, and share best practice to foster a learning environment. Requires a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and 7 years of experience in job offered or 7 years of experience as a Consultant or any other job title performing the following job duties:

Participating on all site construction, expansion and/or modification projects 3. Administering contracts with vendors for the provision of services and equipment 4. Working with local, state, federal, and safety authorities to ensure successful execution and completion of each project per codes and specifications 5. Providing technical assistance and developing execution plan to complete on-site construction tasks by coordinating with vendors, architects, and designers 6. Reviewing project drawings, requirements, and specifications. 7. Determining labor, material, and equipment costs. 8. Preparing accurate material quantity takeoffs. 9. Reviewing bid documents and assessing project risk factors. 10. Comparing and analyzing competitive subcontractor and supplier bids. 11. Reviewing quotes and estimates with Senior Estimators/engineer 12. Preparing estimates at different levels of completion (conceptual, schematic, design development, construction drawings) 13. Estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycle. 14. Providing estimates and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan. 15. Reviewing and participating with the design services team and general contractor, in the development of he cost estimates. 16. Communicating or meeting with the general contractor and owner project manager to gather status information to prepare a cost estimate update. 17. Informing and driving engineering priorities based on cost impact. 18. Working proactively with minimal supervision to resolve scheduling issues. 19. Managing cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects. Completing timely, accurate cost checking and valuation processes. 20. Participating effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes. 21. Managing Cost impact / contingency management and commitment tracking logs.
