In unserer Tochtergesellschaft Tucker in Gießen/Linden entwickeln, fertigen und vertreiben wir mit ca. 1.200 hochqualifizierten Mitarbeitern/-innen Konzeptlösungen für Befestigungen und Fügetechnik für unsere globalen Kunden in der Automobilindustrie. Derzeit vergeben wir für unseren Standort Gießen ein Praktikum und Abschlussarbeit mit folgendem Thema:

Entwicklung und Untersuchung eines Dichtungsdesigns für Ventile mittels Spritzgussverfahren für den Einsatz in Elektrofahrzeugen und Batteriesystemen

Ihre Aufgaben:

• Durchführung von Literaturrecherchen zu Dichtungsdesigns und Spritzgussverfahren

• Entwicklung von verschiedenen Dichtungsdesigns für Ventile

• Konstruktion und Modellierung der Dichtungen mittels CAD-Software

• Herstellung der Dichtungen mittels Spritzgussverfahren

• Durchführung von experimentellen Tests zur Bewertung der Dichtungsleistung, z.B. Druck- und Temperaturtests

• Analyse der experimentellen Ergebnisse und Ableitung von Schlussfolgerungen

• Erstellung einer schriftlichen Abschlussarbeit und Präsentation der Ergebnisse

• Innerhalb des Praktikums wird der Bereich für Versuche (Testing) unterstützt

Ihr Profil:

• Studium im Bereich Engineering oder vergleichbare Fachrichtung

• Erfahrung in der Konstruktion und Modellierung mittels CAD-Software (Catia V5/V6)

• Kenntnisse im Bereich Spritzgussverfahren von Vorteil

• Gute organisatorische und kommunikative Fähigkeiten

• Sie besitzen ein hohes Maß an Eigeninitiative, Kreativität und Neugierde

• Idealerweise konnten Sie bereits erste Praxiserfahrungen sammeln

• Als Teamplayer unterstützen Sie uns mit Ihrer zielstrebigen und gewissenhaften Arbeitsweise

• Sehr gute Deutsch- und gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift runden Ihr Profil ab
