Citigroup VP, Business Lead Analyst - Optima - C13 (Hybrid) in Getzville, New York

The ERM Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence, and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business.

The ERM Lead Analyst will be responsible for release management, delivery, and support of all aspects of project execution for each release. The environment is very fast paced, high volume, and high energy. Our partners are global. Primary roles and responsibilities are the project management for Optima release management, and coordination with both Business and Technical Testing Coordinators. Liaise with Business Testing and Technology Testing Coordinators as well as with Stakeholder and Senior Management. This role will also take lead for liaising with Optima Technical on a variety of tasks and deliverables that are communicated to various Team members/partners for action and closure. Additional responsibilities to ultimately include process improvement identification and solutions for implementation to enable efficiencies, streamlining, etc.

This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Release Management and Coordination (internally and externally)

  • Coordination both internally within the Business Testing and Technology Testing Coordinators community as well as externally, such as GENESIS, Source Systems, Stakeholders, etc.

  • Support Team members as required for UAT Exceptions and respective artifacts.

  • Support team members as required for CCB/UAT, in particularly, current approval chart as well as support required in US time zone.

  • Support Team Members in maintaining accurate Approval Chart as well as communication amongst the team.

  • Support all escalations in conjunction with manager, as well as independently. Including, not limited to, off track JIRAs, JIRA escalations (in particularly, those related to MRIAs and Consent Orders), etc.

  • Attend mandatory GENESIS Consumer forums.

  • Global Liaison with Business and Technical Testers as well as Senior Technology and PBIO (Primary Business Information Owner) and with Senior Management as required.

  • Oversight and where required, ensure coordination and scheduling review calls accurately as well as timely.

  • Coordinate Optima Integration JIRA approval.

  • Daily call with Senior Optima Technology to ensure JIRAs remain on track for all releases, provide tracking of feeds and escalation as required, open items including issues and incomplete requirements, etc.

  • Stakeholder support and activities as well as follow-up through closure for JIRAs

  • Quarterly report for Stakeholders on upcoming JIRAs and volumes.

  • Liaison and escalation of Stakeholder Q&A for open issues as well as follow-up of all outstanding approvals for JIRAs.

  • Tracking of JIRAs from all perspectives including follow-up through to closure of JIRAs

  • Multiple means of tracking to support release activities.

  • Be able to support the GENESIS Go/No Go Call for all JIRAs – identify approval; otherwise, showstoppers, potential targets, etc.

  • Ad Hoc as required.

  • Reporting as required, and follow-up on actionable defects.

  • Late feeds and follow-up of feed delivery to enable JIRA progress and closure.

  • Monthly Release emails as identified as well as newly developed as required.

  • Support as well as execution of artifacts from Audit as well as Governance Controls monthly.

  • Support and provide artifacts for all monthly Controls adopted by Optima.

  • Ad Hoc activities as required.

  • JIRA Access as requested.

  • SharePoint Maintenance and access, etc.

  • Distribution lists maintenance.

  • Any project, activity or deliverable as required.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.

  • PMP preferred.

  • 6-10+ years of relevant experience, within the financial and/or risk services industry preferred.

  • Strong understanding of credit risk topics and data flows. Understanding of financial and risk reporting as well as experience from the business and/or technical arena desired.

  • Experienced project manager with ability to simultaneously handle multiple responsibilities. Including Project Management and/or management reporting and analysis. Strong organization skills. Client focused.

  • A high competency level with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Outlook.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate with all levels on the project. Requires communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others.

  • Ability to work with various organizations. Ability to successfully engage multiple levels of management, stakeholders, technology partners and ability to interact successfully with technical and function teams.

  • Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.

  • Detail oriented with demonstrated ability to follow up with and resolve issues independently.

Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree a plus.

$100,800.00 - $151,200.00
