Citigroup Intm Assoc Credit Maint Anlyst in Getzville, New York
The Intm Assoc Credit Maint Anlyst is a developing professional role which integrates in-depth specialty knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices; demonstrates good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams
Responsibilities:
Apply professional judgment, analytical thinking and knowledge of department policy and procedures in completion of assigned duties
Review of data and resolution of underlying causes of data input errors
Timely management, escalation and resolution of all requests, inquiries and issues related to departmental functions
Maintaining data and documentation associated with extensions of credit
Participation in implementation of projects and ongoing initiatives of the department and organization
Identify gaps and provide input to streamline work processes
Apply understanding of how team and CRMS integrate with others in accomplishing objectives of the department and organization
Provide cross training on process to relevant backup specialists
Knowledgeable of Credit Risk
Qualifications:
2-5 years related experience
Attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Flexibility and ability to multitask
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to research and provide solutions
Self-starter able to work independently and as a team player
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
High level analytical research and investigative skill set including experience with background in extensions of credit
Experience reviewing Credit loan documentation
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
