What’s a typical day as an Electrician ? You’ll be:

• Providing project oversight and direction for the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical/electronic aspects of manufacturing and packaging equipment and facilities

• Providing oversight, direction, and training to less senior technicians

• Completing general work orders and collaborating with technicians across all shifts

• Continuously looking for and implementing improvements to processes, productivity, quality, and cost reduction

• Coordinating the work order process and resolving issues

• Creating, modifying, and managing Preventative Maintenance Plans in SAP

• Engaging with operations and warehouse personnel to ensure well-documented work orders

• Researching, evaluating, and ordering parts required for equipment

• Providing reports related to maintenance to support audits and investigations

• Leading initiatives to improve maintenance practices and optimize PM scheduling

• Providing direction and training to technicians and others in the plant as needed

• Leading special projects to facilitate continuous improvement in the maintenance department

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a minimum of 10 years of manufacturing experience as a licensed electrician

• Hold a valid Vermont Electricians license; master electrician licensure preferred

• Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalency

• Possess strong computer skills and proficiency in SAP PM/MM modules and Microsoft Excel

• Can read and work from blueprints and have good math skills
