We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled senior AWS Solution Architect to join our dynamic Solutionlink team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the design, implementation, and management of our cloud-based production and development environments. You'll bring your expertise to optimize our AWS infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness for mission-critical applications.

Key responsibilities

  • Architect and deploy robust, highly available cloud infrastructure using CloudFormation

  • Design and manage complex VPCs, subnets, security groups, and network configurations

  • Develop and maintain Lambda functions to automate tasks and optimize processes

  • Implement comprehensive monitoring and alarming solutions to ensure system health and performance

  • Establish and enforce IAM policies and best practices in alignment with security and ISO 27K guidelines

  • Champion cost control initiatives, identifying areas for optimization and efficiency

  • Proactively collaborate with development teams, proposing innovative AWS solutions to address complex challenges

  • Participate in off-hours deployments and troubleshooting to ensure application availability

  • Work seamlessly with internal security teams to establish robust secure environments

Qualifications

  • Significant hands-on experience as an AWS Solutions Architect or similar role

  • Proficiency in designing and implementing large-scale production AWS environments

  • In-depth knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, CloudFormation, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc.)

  • Experience setting up and managing monitoring tools (CloudWatch, third-party solutions)

  • Strong understanding of security best practices within ISO 27K or comparable framework

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

  • AWS certifications

  • Experience working with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform
