Essential Duties: Performs GMAW and GTAW welding on various types of metals which may include some or all of the following: aluminum, stainless, and mild steel sheet metal and structural steel parts Ability to read engineering drawings to include weld symbols and check work to print Accurately reports shop floor production data via computer and/or written reporting Performs operator maintenance on equipment Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred and/or related work experience Able to obtain AWS Certification in all above welding areas Operation of small power tools, other hand tools, computerized and high-pressure equipment Disclaimer: This job description is not designed to be a complete list of all duties and responsibilities required for this role.
