This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months , beginning in February 2025, for the position of Pricing Analyst in the Parts Sales Variance Operations Team within the Enterprise Strategy Division.

As a Pricing Analyst , you will be responsible for the administration and monitoring of Aftermarket programs and claims for specific dealers in the EAME region. Your duties will include managing various pricing actions, such as marketing plans, special pricing assistance, and other promotional programs. These programs typically have conditions outlined in an Agreement that dealers must adhere to in order to receive discounts. This position ensures that all programs are properly signed and administered according to the conditions of the Agreements and Guidelines.

What You Will Do:

  • Review and approve claims in adherence with the program’s condition and compliance in our financial system.

  • Recommend and implement policies/procedures.

  • Train respective Industry sales execution team on sales variance management and related systems.

  • Balance the business requirements (from dealers/reps/segments) with the compliance (Legal, Tax and Auditors) to guidelines.

  • Maintain daily communication with Caterpillar business partners and dealers across Europe.

  • Analyse and interpret the spending trends for all programs monthly and make corrective action recommendations to the supervisor/area office/segment.

  • Actively participate in special projects related to sales variance management.

  • Be one of the contacts for corporate auditors and resulting issues related to the control of all pricing programs.

What You Have:

  • Availability to begin employment from February 2025.

  • Customer Focus and Relationship Management.

  • Effective Communication; fluent English for communicating complex concepts.

  • Strong working skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

  • University degree in Marketing, Finance, or Economics.

Top Candidates Also Have :

  • Knowledge of another European language.

  • Proficiency in Data Gathering & Analysis tools: Snowflake and Power BI.

Additional Information:

  • A valid Swiss work permit or Swiss or EU-25/EFTA citizenship is required for this position.

  • Hybrid work policy: 3 days per week from the Geneva office.
