Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact and source of information for all levels from management to employees for all HR related issues
Conduct multiple human resources disciplines, including payroll and personnel administration, recruitment, orientation practices, compensation & benefit practices, employee/industrial relations, diversity, talent management, training, performance management, internal communication and etc.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with corporate initiatives
Manage Collective Labor Agreement process and day-to-day Industrial Relations activities
Manage HR information systems, upholding data accuracy, confidentiality, and operational efficiency
Take an active part in HR auditing process such as ISO audits, Data Privacy & Security and SOX and regularly monitor and update human resources procedures and processes.
Develop and analyze HR metrics to prepare local & international and ad-hoc reports.
Prepare annual personnel budget and conduct cost calculations and compensation analysis
Resolve employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner that protects the needs of the plant to operate in an effective and efficient manner
Support human resources manager, plant management and employees in development and implementation of required programs and processes to drive a positive work environment
Qualifications
University Degree
At least 4 years of experience in HR function preferably within an international manufacturing company.
Excellent command of English (both written and spoken),
Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially in excel
Strong knowledge of labor law and legislation
Payroll and union relations experience is a plus
Knowledge on HRIS systems is a plus, especially Logo, Meyer and SAP SuccessFactors
A team player with excellent communication skills and high degree of confidentiality
Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
Collaborative, self-motivated and result-oriented
