Job Description Summary

All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • All on site life extensions, repairs and maintenances service activities able to be performed at customer site.

  • Perform or supervise Erection & Commissioning of the HV & MV products/systems in Air Insulated & Gas Insulated Substation.

  • Manage subcontractor & customer staff in service activities to secure GE Vernova’s quality and EHS policies.

  • Engage in activities related to the supervision, organization and execution of a service project, including scope, time & quality management.

  • Provide first and second level support to customers, sales & tender team and partners.

  • Prepare progress reports, work reports, test results and non-compliance report.

  • Provide feedback to development and quality teams and participate in Quality Audits, as necessary.

  • Participate in the drafting of technical procedures.

  • Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.

  • Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.

  • Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.

  • Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.

Required Qualifications

  • This role requires experience in the services & on site services

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience)

  • Min 4 years of experience in related business (Experience in transformer, GIS, high voltage switchgear fields)

  • Able to travel domestically and internationally when necessary

  • Good command of English (Part of the interview will be held in English)

  • Good command in MS Office programs

  • No military obligation

  • Driving licence
